The 41-year-old is suspected of having gained access to the office building in Traun several times, stealing cash, tools, cleaning agents, lubricants, sealant and advertising material. In the building he searched offices for valuables and opened the coffee machine three times with a key found in the office and stole mid-three-digit cash from it.
On October 24th, the Linz native was arrested at the scene of the crime. During the investigations of the Traun police force group, the man was found to have had several thefts or burglaries between August 1, 2020 and October 24, 2021. The company in Traun was affected four times, and he committed three more acts in the city of Linz. The 41-year-old also chose company locations in Wels, Sattledt and Steinhaus near Wels as crime scenes. There was damage in the five-digit range.
Both stolen property worth several thousand euros and cash were seized. Most of the Linzer was confessing. After the investigation was over, the 41-year-old was reported.
