The meeting will be held in the southern Italian region of Apulia of the June 13 to 15 and will bring together the leaders of United States, Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy, Canada and Japanas well as some special guests.

Italy will try to control Artificial Intelligence
Italy, which currently holds the rotating presidency of the G7, approved this week a bill aimed at establishing basic standards for the use of AI, allocate investments to the sector and set sanctions for crimes related to AI.
“(It is) a technology that can generate great opportunities, but also entails enormous risks, in addition to inevitably affecting global balances,” Meloni said on Friday, adding that AI had to be “human-centered and human-controlled.”
