At a height of around 100 meters on Saturday afternoon, a paraglider got caught in the material cableway of the Mollner Hütte. According to the mountain rescue operations manager, Christoph Pointner, the man remained uninjured, but the rescue was extremely difficult: “The mountain rescuers first had to be flown up the mountain by the aviation police before they could reach the man via the rope.”
The Molln and Ternberg volunteer fire departments were also involved in the operation.
