For unknown reasons, the local man had veered off a forest road, fallen over steep terrain and been thrown out of his “tractor”. The Tyrol State Police Department said in the evening that he remained seriously injured and lay about ten meters above his vehicle.
The rescue workers who were called were no longer able to successfully resuscitate the man. The 61-year-old was previously working in a field in Fügenberg with four helpers.
