He Central Bank of Uruguay (BCU) published a new tentative calendar for the placement of public debt securities in nominal pesos and Treasury Notes Series 32 in Indexed Units (UI) for this week and 12.7 billion pesos will be tendered in four placements issued by the financial entity.

On Monday the 29th, at 2:00 p.m., the first title in pesos will be put up for bid 5,000 million pesos (almost 129.43 million dollars) with a term 35 days, with an expiration date of Thursday, June 3 of the current year. In that total, 1,000 million pesos (25.89 million dollars) will be non-competitive placements, while the integration date is expected for that same day.

On Tuesday the 30th, at 2:00 p.m., the bidding for a title in pesos will be held. 3.3 billion pesos (85.42 million dollars) with a 92 day period, and an expiration date of July 31 of the current year. Within the total, some 660 million pesos (17.08 million dollars) will be non-competitive placements, the integration date will be that same day.

That same Tuesday, at 2:30 p.m., the Treasury Note Series 32 in Indexed Units (UI) for 200 million pesos (about 5.18 million dollars) with a term of 11.8 years, and a maturity date of February 28, 2036. This tender will not have non-competitive placements and the integration date is two days after.

Finally, on Wednesday, May 1, also at 2:00 p.m., and despite it being a worker’s day holiday, the last title in pesos of the week will be tendered, for others 4.2 billion pesos (almost 108.72 million dollars) with a term of 364 days, and an expiration date of May 2 of next year. Of the total, 840 million pesos (almost 21.74 million dollars) will be non-competitive placements. The integration date of the title will be the following day.
