The search is on for the driver of a black Audi that was traveling on the B38 in the municipality of Bad Leonfelden (Urfahr-Raum district) on Friday around 4:15 p.m. The man had overtaken two cyclists near the town of Leithen, just before Vorderweißenbach, and came dangerously close to an oncoming motorcyclist. So close that the 31-year-old Mühlviertler’s left hand was brushed by the car when he pointed to the driver. The motorcyclist did not fall. The driver of the Audi continued towards Bad Leonfelden without stopping.
Broken metacarpal bone
It wasn’t until the next day that the biker had his injuries examined at the Rohrbach Clinic. It turned out that the metacarpal bone was broken.
