Glorious Bastards: “We’re still an insider tip on weekends”

With a series of events, the Glorious Bastards at the Loxone campus in Kollerschlag wants to get even more involved in the region than before. “Many people still believe that the restaurant is only for hotel guests,” says hotel manager Dominik Schwarzenberger and at the same time invites you to visit Bastards. A series of events is intended to appeal primarily to guests from the entire region.

“On weekdays we have good occupancy because there are also a lot of training guests. But on weekends we are still almost an insider tip,” says Dominik Schwarzenberger, an experienced hotel manager. A first special offer is available until the end of August for all weekend lunch guests who arrive with an electric vehicle. From Friday to Sunday, they can charge their electric car for free at one of the wallboxes while they eat at Glorious Bastards. “We want to pass on the solar energy we generate to our guests instead of feeding it into the grid for a few cents,” says Schwarzenberger.

There is also a Mother’s Day brunch (May 12th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and the terrace is converted into a cocktail lounge every Saturday. There are special offers from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

They also want to use the upcoming European Championships to attract additional guests to Kollerschlag. During the Austria games, the auditorium will be opened to football fans and the matches of the red-white-red team as well as selected top games will be broadcast (June 17th, June 21st, June 25th). You can also win a free beer or two: “If a red card is handed out, you get a round of Seitenrl on the house.”

In the summer it is also planned that professional football clubs will spend their training camps at the Kollerschlager Hotel. Both Bundesliga clubs from the Czech Republic and Germany are interested.
