Oberngruber and Hofer in the neighboring federal state

PUTZLEINSDORF/JULBACH. The renowned “Race Around Lower Austria” is just around the corner, and the cyclists Christian Oberngruber from Putzleinsdorf and Michael Hofer from Julbach now want to circumnavigate the neighboring federal state at racing speed for the first time. The duo competing in the team classification can expect an exciting race full of challenges.

The starting shot will be fired on May 10th at around 8 p.m. in Weitra. As usual, Oberngruber and Hofer are supported by Sareno Objektisolation. The company doesn’t just help them financially; managing director Leopold Fischer is also actively involved in the project as part of the organizational team.

Elektro Reindl is also on board as the main sponsor. And because managing director Matthias Brunner is a passionate athlete, he also accompanies the cyclists as part of the crew in the support car.

Well-rehearsed duo

Hofer and Oberngruber have already competed in several ultra races together. Among other things, they won a team of four in the “Race Around Austria” and a victory as a team of two in the “Race Around Austria Challenge” around Upper Austria.
