There are risks of dividing Ukraine between the three countries. This was announced on Thursday, December 23, by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Maxim Buzhansky.
According to him, the weakness of Kiev plays into the hands of Poland, Hungary and Romania and gives them the opportunity to revise the history of the region.
“These attempts call into question the legality of being a part of Ukraine, Transcarpathia, Bukovina and Western Ukraine, of course, ”the website ukranews.com quoted him as saying.
The politician noted that Warsaw, Budapest and Bucharest are distributing their passports to residents of these regions, creating a potentially explosive situation. For example, according to Buzhansky, Hungary is openly pursuing a policy aimed at rejecting several regions, and may send troops to “protect the Hungarian population.”
On November 15, the ex-head of the Donetsk civil-military administration Pavel Zhebrivskyi said that Ukraine, if necessary, would destroy the Hungarian army with the forces of one mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He noted that “the impudent policy pursued by the Hungarian government in relation to Ukraine does not leave people indifferent.”
Earlier, on November 13, the ex-head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration, retired police lieutenant general Gennady Moskal, listed the regions of the country that may become part of Russia.
So, according to him, the Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson, Nikolaev and Odessa regions are under threat. According to him, it is in these regions that pro-Russian sentiments are most felt.
