The boy suffered serious injuries and was flown to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz, according to the police. At the festival, which was organized by the local fishing club at Puckingersee, tours with a tractor and trailer were offered, among other things. When the 59-year-old driver started another tour, several children ran with the vehicle. Suddenly the seven-year-old fell and got his left forearm under the rear tire of the tractor.

The handlebar initiated an emergency stop, but was no longer able to prevent the arm from rolling over. An emergency paramedic who happened to be there provided first aid and made the emergency call. Pucking’s mayor Thomas Walter Altof (FPÖ) regretted the incident in a short statement via Facebook and wished the little patient a recovery. “Unfortunately, a little boy was injured at the festival. I wish him a quick and complete recovery,” said the local boss.
