A 31-year-old was completely drunk while driving a golf cart on a municipal road in the Neukirchen am Walde area (Grieskirchen district) on Wednesday afternoon. The driver not only had 2.36 per mille of alcohol in his blood, but also four of his friends as passengers.
To the hospital by helicopter
For reasons that are still unclear, a serious accident occurred around 5:10 p.m.: A 24-year-old from Wels fell from the back seat of the vehicle onto the asphalt. He sustained such serious injuries that he had to be treated by an emergency doctor and rescue team and then flown by helicopter to the Christoph Doppler Clinic in Salzburg, the police said on Wednesday evening.
