Two seriously injured: motorcyclist overlooked a turning car in Ebensee
The 55-year-old passenger had to be flown to the hospital by rescue helicopter.

A 72-year-old Ebenseer braked his car on Salzkammergut Straße on Wednesday afternoon to turn towards a residential building. According to witness statements, a 54-year-old motorcyclist from St. Valentin (Amstetten district) overtook several vehicles at the same time and may have overlooked the turning car.

The motorcycle crashed into the rear of the car and overturned. The driver and his pillion passenger (55) were seriously injured. The 54-year-old was taken to Bad Ischl Hospital after initial treatment. The 55-year-old was flown to Wels Hospital by rescue helicopter. The car driver and his passenger remained uninjured.
