Rushed through Linz at 103 km/h: 43-year-old has to hand over her driving license

Not only was the woman traveling twice as fast as the speed limit, she also ignored the police’s stop signals and finally slammed on the brakes at the officer’s level. The 43-year-old had to hand in her driver’s license on the spot, the police said on Thursday evening.

The traffic offender was caught by the police on Thursday around 2 p.m. during routine speed checks. On Florianer Straße near the A1 exit, the officers noticed the car approaching at a very high speed. The measuring device showed a value of 103 km/h.

Although the driver was asked to stop using clear hand signals, she continued to accelerate. Only when she reached the level of the police officer who intervened did the woman from Linz apply all her strength to the brake pedal. She was not allowed to continue her journey and is reported several times.
