In 2008, a university market opened shortly after entering Aurolzmünster. Now the supermarket’s days are numbered. The store had its last day open on Tuesday, April 30th. When asked by OÖN about the reasons for the closure, Unimarkt’s press department replied: “We examine each location for its economic viability. If this is no longer the case in the medium and long term and larger investments are required, we will close these locations, including this one Location in Aurolzmünster.” The business premises were rented from Unimarkt and the rental agreement had been terminated, the company said.
