The gargle test is carried out on site by the respective test person under supervision and is also handed in there. The result of the PCR test should generally be available within 24 hours and is valid for 72 hours.

The Volkshaus Ebelsberg – which has a vaccination line in addition to the range of tests (antigen and PCR) – is closed on December 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st as well as on January 1st, it is open on January 6th (regular Opening times are Monday to Sunday, with the exception of Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 5 p.m.).
The vaccination bus is not in use on public holidays, and the vaccination center in the New Town Hall and in the Volkshaus Neue Heimat are also closed. The Impfstraße in the Linzer Passage is open on December 24th and 31st, from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition, the state of Upper Austria offers free PCR tests in the heated test tent on the forecourt of the Design Center in Linz (open Monday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
