The Naarner fire department was awarded the contract for a base vehicle with lifting crane equipment (WLF K2). This decision by the State Fire Brigade Association was also made against the background that the Naarner fire station will be expanded in the coming months. The building is currently bursting at the seams: some of the equipment is parked outside because there is no free space under the roof. The groundbreaking ceremony for the 2.7 million euro project took place on Friday. Completion is scheduled for around the turn of the year.
