The emergency services were alerted shortly before 1 a.m. Six weirs – Feldkirchen, Lacken, Landshaag, Mühldorf, Bad Mühllacken and Walding – were in action to prevent the fire from spreading to other houses in the densely populated area. A time-critical matter: The fire had already spread to the wooden windows of the adjacent main building.
The fire was extinguished within four hours; fortunately no one was injured – the building is no longer inhabited. The cause of the fire is currently unclear.

Third fire within a few days
The fire on Saturday night is the third since Wednesday in Feldkirchen: On the evening of May 1st, a garden shed burned in the Lauterbachsiedlung, and on Friday afternoon the fire department had to respond to a car fire.
