The teenager had been on the bike path near Bahnäckerstrasse towards the city center when, according to the police, he ended up on the meadow next to the bike path in front of an underpass for unknown reasons and fell onto the road. A cyclist who was following called the rescue team and tried to resuscitate the 17-year-old from Vorarlberg.
The emergency doctor continued resuscitation attempts. However, the victim succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident.
