The Rastelli Cup, a tournament series for young teams, celebrated its premiere in Eberschwang 32 years ago. Over the past three decades, the competition has achieved cult status with several tournaments for different age groups. The start of this year’s tournament series will take place next Sunday from 10 a.m. with the U9 tournament. The game is played in the Eberschwanger sports center. In addition to the teams from the Bundesliga clubs Salzburg and LASK, the training club of the currently strong VfB Stuttgart, FSV Waiblingen, is also one of the favorites. The Innviertel is represented by the teams from Ried, Schalchen and Eberschwang.
The U8 and U10 competitions will take place from June 14th to 16th. There is also a tournament for women this weekend.
