The man crashed his car into a guardrail and was slightly injured, the fire department said in a statement on Saturday. After being treated at the scene of the accident, the rescue team took him to the hospital. His car was badly damaged in the impact.
The Sulzbach fire department and the comrades from the main fire station were on site with several vehicles to clean the roadway and bind up any spilled liquids. Traffic had to be stopped alternately for the duration of the cleanup work.
