The former Canarian leader reaffirmed this Sunday that, in his opinion, internal elections “should be mandatory” for citizens to define the presidential candidates of the respective parties.

Along the same lines, the Colorado candidate Silva also stated in the last few hours that internal elections must be mandatory, so that citizens understand the “importance” of said instance.
“In the internal elections the future president of the Republic is being chosen, and there are three parties that have internal competition,” said Silva before adding: “People have to know that it is very important to go to vote, because, as of vote, on June 30 it is being decided who is going to lead the parties and, in turn, who is going to be the president.
However, he believes that “obligation is up to each person,” but that people should know that their participation in them “determines the future of the country for five years.”
Lucía Topolansky is in favor of mandatory inmates
The former vice president of the Republic, Lucía Topolanskyalso said in February that internal elections should be mandatory so that supporters of all parties “help decide” the different political forces.
Topolansky then recalled that there are three parties that present different options, in reference to the FA, the PC and the National Party (PN). “What is the best option for this time? That is the call we are making,” she added.
“The important thing is that all citizens, each one in the option they want, help us decide for each party,” said the Broad Front politician.
