The women from Union Raiffeisen Dialog Telekom Arnreit started the championship playoff with two championship rounds within four days. And it was extremely successful: with victories against Askö Seekirchen (4:2) and UFG Grieskirchen/Pötting (4:1), we got the full number of points. While the opening game against Seekirchen on the national holiday was characterized by nervousness and mistakes, the Mühlviertler women showed themselves to be a lot more self-confident and powerful on Saturday with home advantage against UFG Grieskirchen/Pötting. “The form curve is pointing upwards, we will try to improve from game to game in order to be able to deliver a top performance in the decisive quarter-final games,” says setter Magdalena Bauer. Next weekend the Mühlviertel women will continue with a second home round: On Saturday, May 11th (11 a.m.), captain Tanja Gahleitner and Co. will not only welcome their opponents from Union Reichenthal but hopefully also many supporting fans on the sports field.
