Johann Minihuber is the new managing director of the Upper Austrian Order Hospitals. This was announced by the “Oö. Ordensspäler Coordination GmbH” on Tuesday. These include the Wels-Grieskirchen Clinic, the Linz Order Hospital, the Convent Hospital of the Barmwärme Brüder Linz, the Ried Hospital of the Sisters of Mercy, the Sierning Hospital and the St. Josef Braunau Hospital. The managing director of the Barmfühle Sisters Ried Hospital succeeds Peter Ausweger, who held this position for 18 years. Ausweger moves to Vienna within the Brothers of Mercy and takes over overall management of the order’s institutions for the entire Austrian order province.

Johann Minihuber studied health sciences and hospital management. He came to the Vinzenz Group in 2009, headed the Western Austria regional office and, as project manager, coordinated the strategy development process for all of the Vinzenz Group’s hospitals as well as the Ordensklinikum Linz merger project. As managing director of Vinzenz Ambulatorium GmbH in Linz, he also developed offers in the area of outpatient rehabilitation. In 2019 the move to the Innviertel took place. The 56-year-old is also involved in the Upper Austria Hospice Association.
