BVB celebrated a 1-0 away win against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday with Marcel Sabitzer in the semi-final second leg with a goal from Mats Hummels (50th) and moved into the final on June 1st in London with the overall score of 2-0 Wembley Stadium, where it’s either Real Madrid or FC Bayern. The first duel between the two clubs ended 2-2 in Munich last week, the return match takes place on Wednesday.

The Dortmund team, who were lucky with a total of four PSG goals, made it to the final of the premier class for the third time. In 1997, Juventus Turin was defeated 3-1, and in 2013 they lost 2-1 at Wembley against Bayern with David Alaba. This time too, with Sabitzer, at least one Austrian has the chance to win the most coveted club trophy in London’s cult stadium. Konrad Laimer could also make it to the final with Bayern, Alaba would be missing if Real reached the final because of his cruciate ligament tear.

Paris continues to chase CL triumph
For Paris, however, it is still a matter of waiting; the French champions, sponsored by Qatar, are still chasing their first Champions League title. The hosts were the team that set the tone right from the start, but there were no compelling chances for a long time. The most dangerous action before the break was carried out by Dortmund. Karim Adeyemi grabbed the ball in a transition situation in his own half and ran it into the PSG penalty box, his shot was just tamed by goalie Gianluigi Donnarumma (35′).
