18-year-old wins the main prize in the ORF vaccination lottery

More than two million Austrians took part in the ORF lottery “Whoever vaccinates, wins”. The winners of the ten main prizes were announced on December 24th. An 18-year-old student from Wals-Siezenheim was able to look forward to the main prize, a dream house worth 500,000 euros. The Flachgau native, who had three vaccinations, wants to become a nurse and is attending the final class of the Salzburg Caritas School.

A total of 2,037,190 people registered. 1,700 prizes were raffled. These included two e-cars, a scooter, flat screens and holiday vouchers. A television set was also raffled off in each federal state.

The lots were drawn on December 21st under notarial supervision. The logistics partner of the ORF Impflotterie, Österreichische Post AG, which took over all shipping and packaging costs, delivered the prizes to the winners in a CO2-neutral manner and ensured that the respective prizes were received by the lucky winners on December 24th. In total, Austria’s businesspeople provided more than 1700 prizes for the ORF vaccination lottery “Whoever vaccinates, wins”.

Main draw in Upper Austria on January 14th

Registration for the will run until January 14, 2022 Vaccination lottery of the Province of Upper Austria. The main prize to be won is an electric car and more than 1200 other prizes, in particular from the areas of tourism, culture, sport and leisure as well as electronics.

Anyone who has their main residence in Upper Austria on January 14, 2022, is 18 years of age and has either had two or more vaccinations or has recovered and has been vaccinated at least once is eligible to participate.
