A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry confirmed corresponding reports from the French media to the APA on Friday.

According to reports, the 54-year-old was piloting the single-engine aircraft and the 49-year-old woman was on board as a passenger. They had therefore landed in Challes-les-Eaux to refuel before setting off again. Due to the risk of explosion, a house not far from the scene of the accident had to be evacuated.
