Ukraine estimated the likelihood of a third world war

Russia and the United States will not allow the outbreak of a third world war, because it will lead to the destruction of humanity. This opinion was expressed on December 25 by the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Yevgeny Muraev.

According to the politician, nuclear weapons are a deterrent.

“Every sane person understands that there will be no third world war either tomorrow or after the New Year,” he said on the air of the Nash TV channel.

Muraev also believes that the meeting of Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden in Geneva in the summer, as well as the refusal of the American side from sanctions against the Nord Stream 2 project, indicate that a deal is supposedly being prepared between the two states.

On October 21, the Russian leader assessed the likelihood of a world war. According to him, there is a threat of complete mutual destruction, which should not be forgotten. The President added that the responsibility for nuclear weapons lies with the nuclear powers.

On October 20, the British newspaper Daily Express published a list of six countries in which the third world war is likely to start.

On October 10, 19Fortyfive columnist Robert Farley said that the conflict between the United States and China could lead to the third and fourth world wars.

He added that China and the United States could start fighting over Taiwan. At the same time, he concluded that any armed conflict in the Western Pacific would be a disaster and lead to the destruction of the infrastructure that has developed between Asia and North America.

On October 8, the director of the Institute of Contemporary State Development, political scientist Dmitry Solonnikov, stressed that the danger of a third world war does exist, but it could occur far from China. According to him, Iran is currently in a difficult situation.
