After 2019, the second revision of the big ship Q7 follows. However, the viewer has to look twice to see the subtle changes. A little tip: You should be able to tell the difference by looking at the headlights and taillights! Audi itself speaks of an “unmistakable design”. And an “impressive presence” on the street. No wonder – given the dimensions!
Laser light switches on
For the first time in a Q7, the HD Matrix LED headlights, including laser as additional high beam, have digital daytime running lights with selectable light signatures. From 70 kilometers per hour, the laser high beam switches on automatically and significantly increases the range. Digital, optional OLED taillights (OLED = organic light emitting diode) with four selectable taillight designs complete the lighting range. For example, if another vehicle approaches the stationary Q7 less than two meters from behind, all OLED lights are activated. The coming home and leaving home productions have been redesigned.
Gray decorative stitching in the seats is now standard. There are also nine decorative inlays to choose from. New in the range: natural silver ash grain wood for the basic model, matt brushed aluminum with silver linear embossing and matt carbon twill for the Q7 with S line sports package and the SQ7 TFSI.
Audi mixed three new paint colors for the big ship: Sakhir gold, Ascari blue or chili red. And formed five new light alloy rims in dimensions between 20 and 22 inches.
The Ingolstadt-based company opened its own infotainment system to third-party app providers such as Spotify and Amazon Music.
The towing capacity of the Q7 is strong: the trailer load is 3.5 tons. The price of the Audi SUV starts at 85,900 euros.

Audi offers the 3.0-liter TDI with 170 kW (231 hp) as an entry-level engine. Torque: 500 Nm. The larger TDI brother produces 210 kW (286 hp). The V6-cylinder petrol engine produces 250 kW (340 hp). The top model, the 4.0 liter V8 TFSI engine produces 373 kW (507 hp).
