The 20-year-old was subjected to a routine check at around 1:40 p.m. on Monday. As the police announced in the evening, the officers noticed clear signs of impairment. After an alcohol test came back negative, a voluntary rapid drug test confirmed the suspicion: the young man from Wels may have consumed cocaine. He was taken to the medical officer, who determined he was unfit to drive. The driver had to temporarily surrender his driver’s license and he is still facing a complaint.
