How prepared the emergency services in the Braunau district and the Rottal-Inn district are in so-called ABC danger situations was demonstrated at a recent cross-border exhibition in Frauenstein in the municipality of Mining. The ABC hazards include nuclear, biological and chemical hazards. This requires specially trained emergency services and usually very expensive special equipment. Pooling forces, especially across borders, is therefore very important, especially since such disasters pose a high potential risk for emergency services, the population and the entire environment.
