From the third quarter onwards, resident parking cards and flat-rate agreements with companies will be processed completely digitally. New resident parking cards then no longer have to be attached to the car, as the supervisory authorities check the parking authorization using the car license plate. Online applications can be processed faster and more cost-effectively. For companies, activation takes place the next day.

If an authorization expires, citizens receive payment information in a timely manner and can extend it unbureaucratically. The corresponding motion was unanimously approved yesterday and will be presented to the local council for a decision next week.
