Bankruptcy proceedings were opened because “despite intensive efforts” the acquisition of new investors as planned in the restructuring plan was not achieved. This meant that the necessary liquidity was not available. It can now be assumed that the company will be exploited.

Geomix could not afford the second installment. The renovation therefore failed. The annual loss for 2023 amounted to around 1.7 million euros. There is a revival of registered and recognized old claims. 74 employees and 192 creditors are affected. Wages and salaries were paid up to and including March 2024. The total liabilities amount to 16.3 million euros (at book value).
