Laura Blajman-Kadara survivor of the Hamas attack on October 7, turned heads on the red carpet at the festival of Cannes when wearing a dress with a Tribute to Israeli hostages still held in the Gaza Strip.

The woman appeared at the gala wearing a coat, but when she walked in front of the cameras on the steps she took it off to show a dress with a somewhat particular design: had sewn portraits of israeli hostages and a black band that read “Bring them home.”

The yellow color of the garment is symbol of solidarity with the Israeli captives still held in Gaza, but also with the survivors of the massacres and the families in mourning.

On his Instagram account, Blajman-Kadar shared a photo of the moment and wrote: “It wasn’t easy but with the help of amazing people we did it. We won’t let the world forget you. Bring them home!”

The survivor of the Hamas attacks on the Tribe of Nova electronic music festival in southern Israel wrote a book about the tragic event. Croire in the vie (“Believe in Life”, in Spanish), was published in March and portrays the events as the author and protagonist experienced them.

The conflict broke out after the unprecedented attack by Hamas in southern Israel on October 7, in which some 1,170 people, mostly civilians, were killed, according to official data. More than 250 people were kidnapped in the attack, and 128 remain captive in Gazaof which 36 would have died, according to the Israeli army.

In response, the state of Israel launched a military campaign in the territory where thousands of Palestinians live, and so far they have died. 35,233 people, largely civiliansaccording to the Hamas Ministry of Health.
