The police and fire brigade were on duty in the Vöcklabruck city area on Saturday night: Late at night, several thieves had gained access to the sales premises of a tobacconist at the intersection of Feldgasse and Doctor-Anton-Bruckner-Straße. The perpetrators probably climbed over the corrugated iron facade onto the flat roof of the kiosk. There they opened a window and got into the building.

The police could not yet say on Saturday what the burglars stole. Likewise, the total damage could not be quantified for the time being. The police investigation is ongoing. When securing evidence at night, the officers were supported by the Vöcklabruck Volunteer Fire Department, which arrived with a telescopic mast vehicle.
