At around 11:45 a.m., the local wanted to pull two fallen tree trunks from a steep slope onto a forest road using a tractor and winch. However, since the trunks became wedged in a tree that was still standing, the rope clamp connections on the winch pull rope came loose and the tree trunks hit the 26-year-old in the head area. According to police, the man suffered fatal injuries.
