The Rufling, Hart and Leonding fire departments were alerted around 1:30 p.m. A shelter where various building materials were stored was fully engulfed in flames.
Callers who raised the alarm for the fire department tried to put out the fire themselves. Since the flames reached up to three meters in height, they were fighting a losing battle. During the fire brigade’s operation there were repeated small explosions, which were probably caused by spray paint cans.
The emergency services were able to prevent the flames from spreading to a vehicle. Nobody got hurt.
