The 41-year-old from the Wels-Land district was riding his motorcycle in the municipality of Steinerkirchen an der Traun around 4 p.m. His eleven-year-old daughter was also on the motorcycle. When a 23-year-old wanted to pull out of his car, he overlooked the two of them – a collision occurred. The biker lost control of the vehicle and fell.
The man suffered an open fracture of his right foot and heel, and his daughter suffered a minor injury to her left knee. Both were taken to the Wels Clinic, the father by rescue helicopter, the girl by rescue. An alcohol test was negative for both drivers.
