After the clear 4-0 win against Lafnitz, the Innviertel team can no longer be pushed out of second place.
In Styria, coach Maximilian Senft’s team got off to a perfect start: Sandro Schendl, who had moved into the starting line-up instead of Fabian Wohlmuth, who had a calf injury, scored to make it 1-0 after three minutes. A small preliminary decision was made after just 13 minutes: Lafnitz defender Cory Sene was shown a red card for stealing a goal.
Ried showed his class in the majority: Ante Bajic made it 2-0 in the 19th minute, and Mark Grosse scored from the penalty spot after half an hour. Fabian Rossdorfer scored the final score (79th) to make it 4-0. Bitter: Bajic had to leave the field after his goal – the striker had previously received a blow and was substituted as a precaution.
