Relegation battle in the Upper Austrian league: these are the chances

Bad Ischl is saved, Bad Leonfelden still has to worry.

A decision has already been made in the Upper Austrian League relegation battle last weekend: Bad Ischl saved itself three rounds before the end of the season with a 3-2 last-minute win against Bad Leonfelden. While bottom club SPG Wels 1b has already been relegated, the fight against the second and possibly third relegation place is completely open. The starting position before the last two games:

12th place (35 points): DSG Union Perg: Thanks to eleven points in the last six games, the Mühlviertlers have put themselves in a comfortable starting position. If you assume that you have to finish at least 13th in order to stay in the league, Perg could secure relegation in the next game against the fourteenth Pregarten.
Chance of staying in the league: 90%

13th place (30 points): SU Bad Leonfelden: The Mühlviertel team is entering the decisive phase with a three-point lead over Schleuderstuhl in 14th place. If there was a tie on points with Pregarten, coach Hubert Zauner’s team would be ranked back due to the direct duels. The form doesn’t necessarily speak for Bad Leonfelden: they only got nine points in the second half of the season and lost seven of the last eight games.
Chance of staying in the league: 50%

14th place (27 points): SPG Pregarten: Even if coach Dominik Nimmervoll’s team was never better than fourteenth from the third matchday onwards, reaching a safe 13th place cannot be ruled out. At the weekend, the 1-1 draw against St. Valentin at least kept the penultimate team at bay. Much more than the missed opportunities, Coach Nimmervoll was more annoyed at the finish by the exclusion of goalie Tobias Jetzinger, who was tempted to commit violence and attacked his opponent Pardametz: “In doing so, he did the team a disservice.”
Chance of staying in the league: 50%

15th place (23 points): ASK St. Valentin: With a win against Pregarten, the Lower Austrians could have made the relegation battle really exciting again. So you need a little miracle. Four points are missing in 14th place, and seven points are missing from the bank that is definitely a saver in 13th place. “But we’re not giving up, we’ll settle the score at the end,” says sports director Harald Guselbauer, chanting perseverance.
Chance of staying in the league: 10%
