A van and a truck collided head-on between Bad Hall and Sierning. The driver of the van suffered serious injuries and died at the scene of the accident.

According to the Sierning fire department, the operation was still in progress on Tuesday afternoon. The road was closed in this area for the duration of the accident investigation and rescue work.
