The measure, defined shortly after a similar one was completed by the drought last year, aims to generate a special fund for producers in some areas of Rocha and Thirty-Three, affected by the climate situation.
He MGAP made the decision based on “the agro-climatic situation in the areas affected by excess water and floods that occurred during April, the current month and the existing weather forecast,” according to the resolution to which he had access Ambit.
The emergency will govern some police sections of the departments of Rocha (2 a, 3 a, 4 a, 5 a, 6 a and 9 a), as well as for other Thirty-three (1 a, 2 a, 3 a, 7 a, 9 a and 10 a). Producers included in those territories will be able to access the Agricultural Emergency Fund.
