Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Nadezhda Savchenko on December 27 surprised Internet users in a new way.
In the photos posted on Facebook, the ex-deputy was captured in two outfits – in a turquoise dress and a navy blue. She also got makeup and styling.
Savchenko explained that the event, the footage from which she posted on the social network, was organized for her by the 2 + 2 TV channel.
“This is a one-time New Year’s easy action. I don’t think looking like that every day is very comfortable. But at least once a woman should pamper herself with some kind of photo session, some kind of salon. And so – everyone is preparing for war, women are being drafted into the army. The time will come, we will all shoot, ”she said in an interview with Strana.ua, commenting on the order of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense on military registration for women.
On December 17, an order came into force, approving the list of industries and professions for which women working in Ukraine should be registered and be on military registration. The list contains 35 professional areas, each of which, in fact, represents dozens of separate specialties of economic activity.
On December 26, it was reported that the country would put women, including pregnant women and those with young children, on military registration, if they possess one of certain specialties. It was noted that, as in the case of men, health and family circumstances would be taken into account for women. It was clarified that it would be possible to forcibly call women into service only in wartime.
On the same day, the commander-in-chief of the country’s armed forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, explained that Ukrainian women will go to military training at will, and they plan to make the registration procedure remotely.
On December 23, a petition was registered on the website of the President of Ukraine demanding to cancel the order of the country’s Ministry of Defense, according to which hundreds of thousands of women would be put on military registration. On December 27, the appeal received the number of votes necessary for consideration by the President of the country.
