After the failure of the fifth round of collective bargaining negotiations in the chemical industry, the union called for works council conferences and protest demonstrations. According to the union, around 400 employees and works council members gathered in front of the Linz Chemical Park on Thursday morning.
The next round of negotiations will take place on June 6, based on the inflation rate of 6.3 percent. If no agreement is reached again, the first warning strikes are threatened.
