A large local supplier in the form of a Billa Plus supermarket is to be opened in Sankt Florian am Inn this year. The Rewe Group confirmed this yesterday in response to an OÖN inquiry. The Rewe Group chose the site of the former Adeg market on the market town’s commercial premises as the location. The Adeg market was closed in October 2022 and was most recently managed by Ingeborg Gerauer for 13 years.
Almost two years later, a grocery store will open again. The company has set the end of November as the first day of sales for the new supermarket – which will have a sales area of almost 1,500 square meters. According to Rewe, the new store will provide jobs for 35 to 40 employees. However, it has not yet been clarified when exactly construction work can begin. “We have some work to do that is still difficult to estimate. We cannot give any specific information at the moment,” says Rewe.
