At 9.30 p.m., officers from the Linz main station police (FGP) carried out a routine check on a passenger train heading for Vienna (Schengen substitute checks). Almost at St. Pölten, they checked a 26-year-old man. It turned out that he was banned from entering the country. During the search, a Romanian passport and driver’s license were also found – both documents were fake. To make matters worse, he also had a “joint” with him.
The man was arrested. After being questioned, he was released on bail.
