Childlike curiosity and a brief, unobserved moment – this combination led to a rescue operation in the Vöcklabruck district on Monday afternoon: In an accident in St. Georgen im Attergau, a three-year-old boy was so seriously injured that he had to be taken to hospital.
As the police announced in the evening, the toddler had tried to open a window that was on the ground at around 4:20 p.m. This caused the window to tip over and fall on the boy. The parents, who noticed the accident immediately, called the ambulance, who took the little patient to a hospital.
