Humor and tragedy on the Nepomuk stage

From Saturday onwards, the stage at the Nepomukteich will be used by the Mimusbühne Waldhausen.

This Saturday, the Mimusbühne Waldhausen is celebrating its return to the lake stage of the Nepomukteich with a production of the animal story “Kaschtanka” by Anton Chekhov. Director, dramaturge and set designer Martin Zels worked with the ensemble over many rehearsal evenings and weekends to create a Waldhausen stage version that is entirely focused on storytelling and acting finesse, and which draws its charm from the blossoming interaction between young and old. Very first experiences on the stage are mixed with decades of stage practice. Reading, telling and acting are all done on an equal footing. Whether eloquent or silent: in “Kaschtanka” all actors can celebrate their very own debut.

The premiere is on June 1st at 8pm. All other dates and tickets can be found at www.mimusbuehne.at
