According to a press release, the police suspect arson, with total damage amounting to around 460,000 euros. At the time of the incident, a cyclist was filmed several times by cameras near the affected area. Information was requested on Tuesday.
The fire on the company premises in the Großebersdorf cadastral municipality of Eibesbrunn was probably started shortly before midnight on April 24 using an accelerating liquid. Several video files show a cyclist near the crime scene from around 10:15 p.m. to midnight.
On the orders of the Korneuburg public prosecutor’s office, photos and videos were published on Tuesday. Information is being accepted by the Lower Austria State Criminal Police Office (Tel.: 059133-303333).
