On Tuesday morning, two electricians were working on the third floor of a large construction site. The 18-year-old from Luftenberg (Perg district) got his foot on a stepladder caught in a drainpipe at around 9:20 a.m. and fell to the depths, where he hit his head on the concrete floor (OÖN reported). His colleague, a 44-year-old Pole, tried to prevent the fall and grabbed the ladder. He was pulled along and was just able to hold on to the concrete parapet. Two workers pulled the man back up.

As reported, the 18-year-old was resuscitated by the emergency doctor and taken to hospital. He died there shortly afterwards from his serious injuries.
