Poland can win a military victory over Russia if it reforms its army, and Moscow abandons the nuclear strike. This statement was made by the expert on geopolitics Jacek Bartosyak.
At the same time, according to him, for such a development of events “a lot remains to be done.” Under the current conditions, the Russian army will defeat Poland as soon as possible, Bartosyak said.
He also believes that Russia will interfere with Poland in creating a combat-ready army, because this directly threatens its security.
“Perhaps this is already happening, because they demanded that the United States agree to mutual guarantees in Europe, which will actually block the development of the Polish army in the direction we would like,” the expert said to wPolityce on Sunday, December 26.
Bartosiak expressed confidence that Russia’s security requirements are aimed at “undermining the military might of Poland.”
On December 27, senator from the Polish Peasants’ Party Jan Philip Libicki called Poland’s exit from the European Union a disaster for the country. He believes that then the state may find itself in the sphere of influence of Russia. According to the senator, Warsaw must do everything to ensure that the country never leaves the EU.
